For today, I am thankful that I actually won three bucks on my lotto ticket. 

Granted I put down $5.00, but what the heck... you gotta play to win!

Three things to show that I'm thankful with my life:

-1.  Cold is almost gone 90%ish.  I'm soo glad that's over.
-2.  Met a new potential friend.  Nice guy overall.  Looking forward to see if we're compatible enough to start up our own business.
-3.  Sleeping in once again felt great this past weekend.  I've taken it for granted.

Behind in thanks

So here goes...

1) I'm thankful in the fact that work is getting a bit bearable now.  It was stressful in the beginning, but I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

2) I wanted to also thank a few good laughs with good friends.  I'm beginning to experience this less and less...  because of the chaotic/busy things that occur in our lives..

Giving thanks on a Tuesday

Wanted to give thanks in the fact that my cold is getting better.

Apparently, the homeless guy that was taking residence in my sinus moved on to other and better things..

Coming down with a cold.. I feel like i have a homeless man taking up residence in my sinus cavities...



What I'm thankful for today..

I am thankful in the fact that my gf packed me some lunch for today.  That was awfully nice of her.

Giving thanks on a Sunday

I wanted to give thanks in the fact that it went ok today.

It would have been a lot worse...


Technically... it's a band aid, but it's my time to prove to them I can do it.

Lagging on the thanks..

I've been lagging on the thanks...work/not wanting to do it comes into play.

-I'm thankful for getting a reality check yesterday.  It sucks in the beginning, but it definitely put me back down to earth.

-I kind of kinked my ankles yesterday and my gf was kind enough to rub some asian vick's vapo-rub on my ankle and shin area.  It felt really good having her massage the heck out of it.


For today, I'm thankful that I had a decent night's sleep.  It felt good sleeping in.

Give thanks for Jan 7th

I'm thankful today in the fact that work went one of my accounts was approved for the full amount.

Good news.

January 5th and 6th

January 5th:  Thankful at the fact that I shared a few drinks with some buds. 

January 6th:  Shopped at Bed Bath and whatever it's called and was relieved to see that they were having some clearance sale.  Usually it would cost me 50 bucks.. it actually came out to 13 bucks and some change.  Awesome gift for me (cough) I mean for my girlfriend.

..but seriously.. I needed body wash ok?!

Thankful for sleep.

I have an appointment with my claims adjuster at 10:30am today.  Which gave me a good reason to not show up for work and call it a half day. 

I was able to sleep in today.. it was awesome.  I got that feeling of .. "Oh man.. I wish I could sleep some more.. but I can't because I slept far too much."

Easy 10 hours..

I'm thankful that I got to see/eat/sleep whatever...

Finally had some time to see Sherlock Holmes on the big screen.  It was pretty good overall.

I got to eat some decent Japanese yakitori stuff. 

I also had a haircut that was long overdue.

After New Years..

Something to be thankful for today..


Nothing bad happened.  At all.

I should be grateful...

Wow.. I was really tested today...

Here's what happened:

-I was on my way to my mom's house to spend some after New Years lunch/dinner when an old Oldsmobile Cutlass swiped my S2K on the rear left side... The guy wasn't uninsured, he didn't have a license... the car that he drove was his father. 

-I found out that my insurance agent somehow took out uninsured motorist coverage for some reason.

-I got a lovely call from my bank today stating that I did some transactions.  Dealt with Fraud Prevention and unfortunately.. they caught on to it too late.  I wasn't able to have them reverse til the investigation is done....


Pretty crappy day overall...that's how I felt today.  On New Years of all day..I'll even admit it was my birthday too.

Sure it sucked today.. but there was a alot of good things happening today.

-Spent some quality time with family and extended family members.
-Watched some decent movies.
-When I got home.. feeling all defeated and depressed, my girlfriend ran downstairs to make make me some food..
-Also the guy that swiped me today.. was drugged or drunk...and I know for a fact that this accident could have been a lot worse...

Life sucked today... but my loved ones lifted me up and helped me get through the day..
